  • Cairns Post | Clarke’s State Medal Haul
Following great success and an amazing result at the 2018 Junior State Championships, Barron Valley Gymnastics' Clarke Walters featured in the Cairns Post this week. Clarke placed 3rd All Around in the Level 4 Open division and won GOLD on the pommel horse. Adding to his haul was a silver on high bars and rings.  Clarke was one of 3 Barron Valley boys and 33 girls who competed at the Junior State Championships in Brisbane from 22nd - 25th September 2018. Barron Valley's level 3-5 boys and level 4-6 girls competed confidently and the BV team spirit shone bright.  Level 6 Open gymnast, Tali Hoye also picked up the bronze medal in her division at the titles.  Tali also won State Champion on Vault!
