  • Core Values Stories: If you don’t leap
Our company core values are so important to us.  It's why we do what we do.  So it is wonderful to be able to share stories which show how both our staff and Delta families are living these values in the gym.   Groovy Groovers Miss Julie loves to tell stories of when new little Groovers (Kindy kids) bravely take the first step of leaving mum and dad & walking on to that big blue gym floor on their own! That's a leap of trust in us as coaches and so great for building kids confidence and independence! Gym Kids Turning Upside Down! Sometimes going upside down can be daunting for kids.  Especially on the bars learning pullovers.  Our Clayfield team leader Sharon has been so impressed with Gym Kids giving it a go (with the support and encouragement from their coaches and friends).  Amazing! My Team Rules! Earlier in the year our youngest & least experienced Aspire gymnasts took to the floor in the Level 1-3 My Team Rules competition.  For many gymnasts and some coaches, it was their first time attending a gymnastics competition. New environments and new things can be scary & not knowing how things will work is often reason enough for people not to take that leap of faith.  We are so proud of every gymnast who gets out their and shows us what they are made of and what they have been working on in the gym!  Thank you coaches for trusting in the process and encouraging your gymnasts to attend and experience competitions and for making it so fun!  And  thank you gymnasts for taking that leap and being part of this awesome sport - you rocked My Team Rules! Aspire Gymnasts Fly! Many of our coaches in the Aspire Performance and Competitive programs have been sharing stories about their gymnasts hard work, bravery and goal setting.  We have heard about girls working hard to achieve giants between the bars for competition.  Others who believed they would struggle with a skill, but gave it a go, worked the drills and soon realised it played to their strengths and they could do it (and are now doing it with ease!).  We have also heard about gymnasts tumbling backwards for the first time... starting out on the trampolines, building their confidence day by day and seeing great improvement.  So great to see so many of our athletes flying!

Pretend Play… Why It’s So Important!
