Dangerous Weather Conditions
The Club will follow advice from State Emergency Services regarding severe weather warnings. Members will be advised by SMS and email if a class is cancelled due to state emergency warnings. Refunds or make up lessons will not be provided if dangerous weather conditions require the cancelling of classes.
Hot Weather Procedure
We understand weather in Queensland can be hot! Here is how we are going to ensure your child stays safe during these periods
- Our coaches will
- monitor your child the entire lesson and ensure they are kept well hydrated, rested and cool
- tailor activities appropriately, ensuring intensity and duration of exercise is monitored and limited as required
- ensure children have ready access to their water bottles at all times
- ensure the children have short breaks and are able to stand in a breezeway or under a fan
- utilise water sprays to cool the children down between activities
- If a child feels as though they need to stop, we will have them sit in a cool spot for a period of time until they feel they can participate again
