  • Delta Aspire Gymnasts Selected to Represent Queensland
Following the results of the 2019 Senior State Championships held in April, 14 Delta gymnasts were selected to represent QLD at the 2019 Australian Gymnastics Championships in Melbourne later this month. Congratulations to our 2019 State Team Members: Senior International - Georgia Godwin Junior International - Isabella McDonnell-Baum Level 10: Jaymee Dillon, Jessica Cleverly, Tegan Clough & Lucy White Level 9 Open: Ava Kinnane, Sophie Graham Level 9 Under: Niamh McCarthy & Grace Webb Level 8: Ruby Ingle, Chloe Marginov, Maya Sudrikku & Isabella Wilson Selection on the QLD Team is a huge honour and to celebrate this incredible achievement watch this space over the next two weeks as we introduce to you our Delta athletes who have been selected to represent QLD in 2019! Special shout out to the athletes from our sister clubs Barron Valley Gymnastics Club and Southport Gymnastics Club who have also been selected to represent QLD in Melbounre.

My hero is Gabby Douglas because even though she faced many challenges along the way, she pushed through and Went to the Olympics in 2012 and 2016. Favourite Movie? Five Feet Apart Favourite Food? My favourite gymnastics memory is the 2017 Cairns tour, it was so enjoyable and exciting and I made life long friends. I will never forget the memories made while doing fun activities with friends. Best piece of advice you'd give to younger athletes? The best advice that I can give younger athletes is to trust and respect your coach because they know whats best for you and your gymnastics. Also be kind to everyone you train with and encourage them when they need it, because they will do the same for you.
