  • Delta Aspire Gymnasts Shine at the 2017 Queensland State Championships!
The 2017 Senior State Championships and State Team Trial took place last weekend with our Delta Aspire gymnasts from Delta Brisbane, Delta Gold Coast and Barron Valley Gymnastics shining bright as they took on the best in the State!  And what an amazing result - with outstanding performances and many of our incredible gymnasts from all three Delta Clubs gaining selection on the 2017 Queensland State Team to challenge at the Australian Gymnastics Championships in Melbourne later next month! 64 Aspire gymnasts from our three Delta Clubs competed in the event over the weekend over two rounds of exciting competition. With fantastic results across all levels and age divisions our gymnasts performed exceptionally well and fought hard to perfect their performances as they challenged for a position on the 2017 State Team. The Delta spirit was well and truly on display during the Level 10 and Senior/Junior International session on Friday night. An army of supporters arrived dressed in their best Delta costumes and took to the stands to cheer on our gymnasts out on the floor. The crowd of amazing Delta & Barron Valley supporters were on the edge of their seats as the gymnasts showed what they are made of! To our incredible coaching team, congratulations on an amazing event and thank you too for nurturing and challenging the gymnasts to be the best they can be. Finally to our Delta Brisbane, Gold Coast and Barron Valley level 7-10 gymnasts, you are a credit to your families, Delta and Queensland and we hope you had a blast performing on the weekend!
