  • Delta Gold Coast Take on the Coomera Classic

Last weekend our Delta Gold Coast Level 3-6 Aspire gymnasts headed off to compete in the Coomera Classic, which was held in the amazing Commonwealth Games Gymnastics Arena!  This event is the perfect preparation for our gymnasts as they get ready to take on Jnr Regionals, and we are so proud of the girls’ amazing performances!

Check out some highlights and photos below!

Competition Highlights:

With an early morning start the Level 4 Open and Level 6 Under 12’s hit the floor ready to go.  The girls looked lovely out there and showed us all just how hard they have been working in the gym! We are so proud of their efforts!  Well done Kira Budai, on placing 3rd All Around in the Level 4 Open competition.

Delta Gold Coast’s two Level 5 Under 11’s hit the floor running on Sunday, showing true Delta spirit and fantastic support for each other throughout the competition.  Well done Ruby and Skye!

Our Level 3 Open and Level 4 Under 11’s looked beautiful on the floor, showing courage and great sportsmanship in all of their performances!  Congratulations to Asher Edwards, who placed 4th All Around in the Level 3 open event.

Our awesome Level 4 Under 9’s and Level 6 Open gymnasts had a fantastic round of competition.  All girls performed well and we loved seeing their spirit shine through!  Emma Defazio placed 3rd All Around in the Level 6 Open competition – great job Emma!

Our Level 5 Open gymnasts and Level 3 Under 8’s finished off the last session of a massive weekend!  What fantastic routines the girls showed – and looked like they were having a great time out there on the floor!  Huge congratulations to Kate Peterson who took the 1st All Around title in the Level 5 Open Division!

The girls and their coaches are back in the gym and working hard as they prepare for Jnr Regionals in September!  Go Delta Gold Coast – you’ve got this!
