  • Delta Gymnastics Athlete Profile – Lindsay Webb

The Delta Aspire Program is home to some of the club’s most dedicated and accomplished athletes.

Competing across the ALP Level 7–10, Developing International and Senior International divisions, these gymnasts train with the goal of representing their club, state and country at the highest levels of the sport. Their success is built on years of commitment, resilience, teamwork and an unwavering pursuit of excellence.

At Delta, we believe it is not only what we do, but the way we do it. Our Core Values guide everything we do and help shape not only successful athletes, but exceptional young people. We are incredibly proud of the leaders within our Aspire Performance Program who bring these values to life each and every day, both inside and outside the gym.

As many of these athletes prepare to represent Queensland at the 2026 Australian Gymnastics Championships, we invite you to get to know them a little better.

Name: Lindsay
Age: 17
Level: 10
Years in Gymnastics: 15

What are you most looking forward to at Australian Championships?
Competing in Level 10 at Nationals for the first time and experiencing a new competition arena.

Looking back, what are you most proud of in your gymnastics journey so far?
Coming back from multiple injuries, especially my knee surgery, which challenged me to keep pushing towards my goals.

What’s your go-to post-training snack?
Sushi is always my go-to, but I also love a good Ninja Creami.

A goal you’re chasing right now?
To have a strong year in Level 10 and put myself in a good position to be selected for the Australian Team.

What motivates you on the hard days?
My family and my younger self. My mum has never given up, even through the most challenging times in her life, and my dad works incredibly hard to give our family the best. They remind me that if they can push through life’s toughest moments, then so can I.

What has gymnastics taught you outside of the gym?
Resilience, because you can’t improve by giving up when life goes sideways, and humility, because every step forward—no matter how small—is still progress.

Something people might not know about you?
I’m the reason my parents know their Medicare number by heart! I once rode my motorbike straight into a barbed wire fence and later earned myself a skin graft after a full-speed treadmill burn.

What do you love most about Team Delta?
The environment. The girls and coaches are incredibly supportive, and I never leave training without a smile.

What would your teammates say you’re famous for?
Looking like a stunt double with my dramatic falls during skills—it’s become known as “The Lindsay.”

Who has had the biggest impact on your gymnastics journey and why?
My sister, Grace. She’s always supported me, whether it’s helping with drills or motivating me through a little sisterly competition. The standard she’s set continues to inspire me to keep striving for more.

One message for your fellow Delta teammates heading to Nationals?
You’ve already done the hard work to get here, so go out there, soak up every moment, make incredible memories and have fun!
