  • New Gymnastics Movie Features Delta Gymnasts!

Lights, camera, action!

What a week for our 22 Delta gymnasts who have just returned from touring to Adelaide to star in new gymnastics movie, A Second Chance: Rivals. Following the success of gymnastics movies, A Second Chance and Raising the Bar, Clay Glen and his production team invited our Delta girls on set once more to strut their stuff as stunt doubles, in acting roles and as scene extras whilst filming his latest gymnastics movie, A Second Chance: Rivals. The movie is the sequel to A Second Chance and is set for cinema release in September 2019. Introducing a new, younger gymnastics cast our amazing Delta gymnasts had a ball taking part in the production. Two of our Aspire Performance gymnasts, Ruby and Eva were successfully cast as body doubles for the show's main characters and all of our girls will feature throughout the movie as fellow competitors, team members and supporters. Coaches Lauren and Wendy travelled to Adelaide with our movie stars (keep an eye out for Wendy's starring role as a gymnastics judge) for a fun week of adventures on set.  Such a fantastic opportunity for our girls to try something new, learn about life on a movie set and strengthen our team. We can't wait to see our girls at the movies in September! Check out the trailer for A Second Chance: Rivals here and see if you can spot any familiar faces! Did you know this is not the first time our Delta gymnastics have made it to the big screen?  In 2016, we saw a number of familiar Delta faces in Raising the Bar, the follow up film to the original A 2nd Chance movie. You can check out the action from our first movie adventure here. What's your favourite gymnastics movie?
