  • DELTA’S SUPER SUCCESS AT SENIOR STATES!
What a weekend!  Well the 2023 Senior State Championships is over for another year and what an incredible few days we had!   With many stunning performances and record-breaking results, the highlight of Senior States was the true team spirit our gymnasts showed, both on the floor and in the stands! This year, our gymnasts competed at Snr State Championships and State Team Trial at the Sleeman Sports Centre. Cheered on by the Delta Army, family, coaches and friends it was wonderful to see so many smiling faces enjoying gymnastics! We are so proud of all of the competitors and coaches on such a fantastic event! After an inspiring 3 days, in 2023 we are excited to announce Delta Gymnastics have had 18 gymnasts selected on the Queensland Team, to represent the state at the upcoming Australian Championships or Border Challenge competition later this year. Way to go girls! #goteamdelta At Snr State Championships, gymnasts from across the state in level 7-10 & International perform across the weekend long competition. Day 1, sees the girls vying individually for the State Champion Title and Day 2 is the apparatus finals and where the girls challenge for State Team selection (gymnast's total scores from both days combine and the top 6-8 are selected in each level).
