  • Gymnastics Club of the Year
Congratulations Delta Gymnastics Brisbane on being named Gymnastics Queensland’s Club of the Year for the 3rd consecutive year! Delta received the highest of accolades at this year’s Gymnastics Queensland Annual Awards on Saturday night in Brisbane, which also saw incredible Delta gymnast's Georgia Godwin and Maddy Thompson named International and National Gymnast of the Year for 2018. Gymnastics professionals and Clubs from across the State added a touch of orange and headed to the 2018 Annual Awards to celebrate an awesome year of gymnastics for our Queensland gymnasts and Clubs (shout out to Georgia Godwin, who literally brought an orange with her to encapsulate this year’s black and white with a touch of orange theme!) The Gymnastics Queensland Awards recognise Clubs, Coaches, Support Teams and Gymnasts not only for their success throughout the year, but also for their ongoing efforts to grow, develop and celebrate the sport of gymnastics within the Community. Many hands make light work and we’re so lucky to have an amazing team of gymnasts, coaches, leaders and support staff working together to be the best we can be. Leading the way are our Competitive Coaches, Wendy and Josh who picked up the award for National Coaches of the Year! Amazing effort team! Congratulations Team Delta on an awesome year.
