Did you know our Brisbane coaching team has the largest number of full time dedicated coaches in all of Australia?
Among our team we have staff who have completed degrees in Education, Sports Coaching, Physiotherapy, Psychology, Sports Science and Occupational Therapy - and many others who are studying while working at Delta! We offer coaching internships and currently have three full time staff members completing this opportunity.
We feel so proud and lucky to be able to offer full time career options, and importantly to have found these amazing people who want to dedicate their lives to coaching kids and helping them be the very best they can be!
Check out this video of our coaches in action (& how we go about getting the best of the best to join our team!) below:
As you know, at Delta we run classes year round - with just one month break over Christmas. This ongoing routine and not breaking for terms, ensures continued learning and development for our kids. Classes in Brisbane in fact run 7-days a week for a large part of our program... our gym closing only for public holidays throughout most of the year!
We have had feedback over the years with regards to Public Holidays and what happens if gymnastics falls on that day. Over the years we have tried many different options with the goal of listening to our families and members, while allowing our majority full time staff to enjoy their public holiday with their families also.
Currently we offer the below alternatives for parents in our Gym Kids to Aspire 4 programs, should your class fall on a public holiday:
Jnr Gym Kids: Children in our under 5's program (Explorers, Movers and Groovers) receive a replacement class for lessons missed due to a public holiday. We have more flexibility and space in these classes and families receive a Voucher which can be used to make up the missed class.
Our
Gym Kids to
Aspire 4 gymnasts receive a Holiday Clinic Voucher for each class missed due to a public holiday. We now run clinics EVERY school holidays and you have 12 months to use your voucher. All of our Holiday Clinics are themed and kids get to keep active, meet new friends, experience different coaches and for some of our children, try a different venue to train in. This Easter our Holiday Clinic theme is Comm Games Challenge!
Book your spot now!
Our coaching team for Holiday Clinic have Comm Games Fever and can't wait to challenge the kids!
