Ta-Da! Our Jnr Gym Kids are getting excited as we get ready to heading off on a treasure hunt of movement and fun at their Ta Da Carnivals!
For our Brisbane Jnr Gym Kids, Ta Da Carnival week kicks off on Mon 27th November through to Saturday 2nd December. Ta Da Carnival Week is held on your usual gymnastics day, however all Carnivals are held at our Delta Kedron venue, where Miss Julie and her crew are ready to take children and their helpers on a treasure hunt! Collecting stickers for skills, Ta Da Carnival is a wonderful opportunity to clap, cheer and celebrate with your child as they show all they have been learning at gymnastics!
Our Barron Valley Jnr Gym Kids will be celebrating their Ta-Da with the Treasure Hunt Carnival taking place on Sunday, 19th November.
Jnr Gym Kids is designed specifically for under 5’s and is full of rich, engaging activities which not only build muscles, but also strength, co-ordination and confidence! We play powerfully with movement fundamentals in a way that allows every child to thrive and grow. Supporting and guiding each child on their own journey of growth and development, with lots of fun and successes along the way – we aim for life long movers!
Themes are an integral part of our programmes here at Delta Jnr Gym Kids – purposeful play helps our learning to stick. This Ta Da Carnival children will enjoy aspects from a number of themes, pirates, mermaids and teddy bears. Laterality, using both sides of the body when we move, is a basic fundamental of healthy brain wiring. Pirates taught us to lunge into handstands! It is much more fun to try our gymnastics skills with mermaid tails, rather than simply keeping our legs together! On beam, a routine sequences skills together – we make it easy to remember by using our teddy bear rhyme!
We can’t wait to see our Jnr Gym Kids find their treasure at their Ta-Da Carnival! Don’t forget to bring the camera and get ready to have some fun as we move, learn and grow in the gym!
