Term 2 here we come!  Wow, Term 1 really whizzed by, with lots of fun in the gym!  Our Delta gymnasts are about to head into a very busy and exciting Term 2!  With so much coming up, check out what's on the agenda next term...
Jnr Gym Kids Ta-Da Week
This term sees our under 5's celebrate all they have been learning during their fortnightly themes at Ta-Da Week!  The treasure maps will come out as gymnasts and their carers have fun collecting stickers for skills and activities! Ta-Da Week will commence the week starting 4th June!
Gym Kids Carnival!
Term 2 means Carnival time for our Gym Kids!  Our mid-year Carnival will run over two weekends in Brisbane (3rd and 10th June) and is a club favourite!  Families and friends are invited to come along and watch their gymnast perform skills from our unique Steps to Success Program.  Children will receive a medal for their efforts and parents will receive a feedback certificate, which will explain how children are progressing in a number of skills across the 4 gymnastics apparatus.
My Team Rules - Aspire Foundations & Performance
Our Aspire Foundations and Performance gymnasts in level 1-6 are getting ready to kick off their 2018 competition season.  Our first event for the year is My Team RulesWe can't wait to see the girls in action at this fun, team competition.  Level 1-3 gymnasts will be competing the weekend of 28th/29th April and level 4-6's will perform on the 12th May at Delta Kedron.  Go girls!
Senior State Championships - Aspire Competitive
Our level 7-10 athletes are in the swing of things, preparing for Senior State Championships on Thursday 19th April – Sunday 22nd April.  This is an incredible weekend of gymnastics where the best of the best in Queensland vie for a position on the State Team, to compete at National Championships in May.  Want to come along and support our girls at Snr States?  Click here for the details!
LAST BUT NOT LEAST - Commonwealth Games! #Team Georgia!
Last but not least, Georgia Godwin, our highest level Delta gymnast will be competing at the Commonwealth Games from 6th April on the Gold Coast.  Want to learn more about Georgia?  Read out interview here!  Going to the Games?  Download your Georgia Godwin autograph cards here!
