Wow, we made it! What a busy end to 2017 we have had at Barron Valley!  I would like to say a massive thank you to everybody who brought their children along to the events we ran in November. We have seen lots of happy faces in the gym over the last month! Here is a quick recap!

Barron Valley Classic

We had 160 Barron Valley gymnasts participate in our last competition for 2017, the Barron Valley Classic! We had a fantastic weekend, with some gymnasts competing in their first ever competition! It was also great to see gymnasts trying out some of the new level 5 skills they've been working hard on in class, in preparation for 2018! The competition was run over 3 sessions and thank you to our great team of staff and volunteers for ensuring everything ran smoothly throughout the event.  A big thank you also to our Level 5 to 10 gymnasts, who did a great job helping out on the day!

Delta Gym Kids Carnival

What fun we had at our final Gym Kids Carnival for the year!  200 amazing Gym Kids attended the Carnival, showing off the skills they have been working on in class each week.  It is clear our gymnasts have been working hard and from all the smiles - having a great time as well!  We are so proud of our Gym Kids and loved seeing their faces when they achieved their step medal. We also loved seeing the awesome displays from our Aspire gymnasts.  What a great inspiration to our younger gymnasts and an opportunity to show our Gym Kids and their parents where all of our skills are heading.

Delta Jnr Gym Kids Ta Da Carnival

This was the event that let some of our smallest members shine. 83 Jnr Gym Kids (under 5's) came along to our Ta Da Carnival and headed off on a treasure hunt, collecting treasure stickers for performing the skills they have learned in class this year. There were lots of beaming smiles and beautiful “Ta Da” arms from our little ones!

Christmas Programs for Gym Kids

The gym is decorated, Santa Hats & Christmas carols are on and it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!  We finish off the year with our Christmas programs for our Gym Kids and Jnr Gym Kids.  It's been lots of fun and great to see our Gym Kids, Aspire gymnasts and coaches getting into the Christmas spirit BV style!

If you haven’t yet locked in your class for next year, please come and chat to Philippa at the front desk.  Some of the classes are filling up fast, so book your spot now, so you're ready to go in January!
