We are very excited to announce the gymnasts who have been selected to represent Southport Gymnastics at the 2017 National Gymnastics Carnival in Bendigo!
Congratulations to the following Girls:
The 2017 National Clubs Carnival is held in Bendigo from the 22nd - 29th September. Hosted by Gymnastics Australia, Clubs from around the country will compete for the title of the Australian Club Champion.
The National Clubs Competition structure allows 6 girls to compete in each team at level 5-10 (there is no level 4 division in this event , with the top 3 scores counting on each apparatus . Accordingly, we have been able to select apparatus specialists to join the team and assist in building Southport’s overall score for this event!
While we would have loved to taken everyone to this event, due to the competition rules we can only take limited numbers of gymnasts in each level.
With the individual season in full swing for our level 4-6 gymnasts, we hope everyone is looking forward to performing and we know each and every gymnasts will do themselves proud. We are already so proud of your efforts girls!
