In August, four of our senior Delta staff had the incredible opportunity to visit Los Angeles and attend the US National Gymnastics Congress. It was amazing to see how big our industry is in America, with over 4000 professionals attending the congress.

The Congress included lectures, demonstrations and practical sessions for coaches of Under 5’s; development gymnastics and high level competitive gymnastics.  Our team – John, Megan, Julie and Amy also attended sessions on leadership and business development opportunities in gymnastics.

While in the US, John and Julie were lucky enough to visit 10 gymnastics clubs within the LA district and had the pleasure of chatting with some of the Managers and staff at these clubs. It was great to see how our friends in the industry do all things gymnastics!  The Congress coincided with the US National Titles and our coaches were wowed by the incredible performances of  the US international gymnasts!

What a fantastic experience!  Our team have returned with some great ideas (& lots of great merchandise we will soon launch to you) and have learnt many new things!  The trip was also a fantastic reinforcement of the great job we are doing back home at Delta and of our position as a leader within the Gymnastics Industry in Australia and America!

Be humble, be teachable and always keep learning!
