  • Delta Gymnastics Athlete Profile – Siena Enders

The Delta Aspire Performance Program caters for high level National and International gymnastics. Gymnasts selected into this level of the program aspire to represent their state and country at Level 10 and International competition. As part of this program girls compete in the ALP Level 7 – 10 divisions along with Future, Junior and Senior International Competition. With a focus on mastering high level skills, exceptional strength and conditioning and an emphasis on goal setting and teamwork, gymnasts are equipped with the skills to be the best they can be - in the gym, at school and in their future endeavours!

At Delta we believe that it is not only what we do – but the way we do it. Our Core Values are what guide our decision making and unite our entire team. Click Here to read more about our Core Values.

We are so proud of the incredible leaders we have at all levels, who foster these values and demonstrate them in and outside of the gym. We thought we would share a little more about our highest level athletes for you to get to know and so you continue following their journey.

Gymnast Name: Siena Enders Nickname: Si Age: 17  DOB: 15/09/2003 How many hours do you train? 22 What Level are you in? 10 What School do you go to? St Rita's College Birthplace: Brisbane Favourite apparatus? Floor Favourite skill? Round off 1+ 1/2 punch front layout on floor What is your next skill goal you're aiming to achieve? Get all my skills back that I had before Covid lockdown. What's the craziest skill you'd like to try? I've tried clear hects on Bars, they were pretty fun. Favourite gymnastics memory? Making level 10 or doing my first ever giant, or representing the Club at National Clubs 2019 by getting to go up and collect our massive team trophy! Who is your hero & why? I don't really have one specific hero but I look up to Georgia Godwin as motivation because of how she balances her busy schedule in order to continue doing what she loves.  Best gymnastics achievement so far? Achieving Level 10  What do you love most about being part of #teamdelta? The strong team spirit that our club has inspires me at competitions and I feel proud to represent Delta. I have also made so many close friends over the years which will become life-long friends. Favourite movie? Either Surfs Up or The Blindside Favourite food? Spaghetti or Poffertjes What do you want to be when you finish school? Hmm...maybe a Rehab Physio Hobbies outside of gymnastics? Beach, eating food, family time, road trips Which Disney character best describes you and why? Probably Dory from Nemo because I'm always a happy person, up for a laugh and look for the good in every situation. I'm also quite forgetful like Dory! Best piece of advice you'd give to younger athletes? Try your best to at least achieve one goal or make an improvement each session. Even if it's only really small it feels good to go home after every training knowing that you made some sort of improvement and it makes the session worth it. Just have fun and remember to communicate with your coaches, they will always be there to help you. Check out some photos, Excellence Awards and videos of Siena here!
