We had a blast these school holidays at our first Delta Gymnastics Ninja Warrior Holiday Clinic!  Held both weeks of the school holidays at our Delta Kedron venue, gymnasts challenged the ninja circuit - leaping across the quintuple steps (beatboards), rope swinging, cargo net climbing, maze crawling, pit running, trampoline jumping, taking on the mat mountain and more, before ringing the bell when completing the course! With activities designed to improve balance, strength, speed, power, endurance & fitness (not to mention being so much fun!), our ninja contestants leapt and flew through the timed circuit - we definitely have some contenders for Australian Ninja Warrior in future years! Our Holiday Clinic is designed for school-age children, from Prep through to those in our Aspire 4 program.  A great chance for beginners to experience gymnastics, and for current members to get in some extra holiday fun, the clinic also included warm ups and games, gymnastics circuits on uneven bars, balance beam and floor plus the famous Ninja Warrior Course.  Children worked super hard on their flexibility, strength and coordination on each of the apparatus and was great to see so many smiling faces in the gym! We love Holiday Clinics and keeping our kids active all year round.  We hope our gymnastics ninjas had a ball, enjoyed meeting new friends and coaches, taking on the ninja course & learning new skills all while improving their strength, flexibility and coordination and confidence!
