  • Southport Gymnasts Shine at the Coomera Invitational
Our Southport gymnasts shone bright on the weekend, doing themselves proud at the 2018 Coomera Invitational. One of the final lead up events for Junior Regional Championships, The Coomera Invitational sees gymnasts from around the Gold Coast & South East Queensland perform. Our Southport Gymnastics girls in Levels 3-6 looked confident and well prepared, after really focusing on their skills and dance in the gym.  With clean skills and confident routines, our gymnasts were ready for competition! After a busy weekend (& gymnasts competing across a number of sessions) we're thrilled with Southport's performances - the girls did a fantastic job!  We had so much fun on the competition floor and are so proud of each and every competitor.  As usual, it was wonderful to see the friendship and team support our Southport gymnasts, families and friends displayed at competition - it really does mean so much to the gymnasts on the comp floor. Special mention to Airi Tonzing who placed 1st All Around in the Level 4 Under 11 competition.  Woohoo! Great Job Airi! Check out our amazing Southport Gymnasts below! Girls, you should be really proud of yourselves. We are excited to get back into the gym to continue our preparations for Junior Regionals (25th/26th August) and Junior State Championships (22-25th September). We can't wait - go Team Southport!   For scores and results, you can download the Beyond the Scores App, or check it out here!
